    The Magnolia House

We worked with my in-laws to purchase The Magnolia House and attached Magnolia Studio in 2025.  At the time of purchase, the main floor had 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom.  We are working with a contractor to convert it into a 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom space. It’s a charming 1940’s home nestled in a residential neighborhood of another college town.

    The Magnolia Studio

We worked with my in-laws to purchase The Magnolia House and attached Magnolia Studio in 2025.  The Magnolia Studio is located on the bottom floor of the house, next to the garage. It’s an approximately 350 sq. ft, 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom studio that the previous owner created for use as a rental property.  After purchase, we immediately painted and upgraded the space, with the intent to use this space as a short-term rental while the upstairs was being renovated.

    The New Beginning

We bought The New Beginning in 2024, 6 months before our wedding.  It’s a 3-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom new construction townhome at the edge of a residential neighborhood within a college town.  This almost 2000 sq. ft townhome means a lot to us, as it’s the first home we purchased together, and the first one we’ve furnished and decorated together as well.  We’ve enjoyed living in the house together as almost-married fiancé(e)s, and now as newlyweds.  A large majority of our wedding registry was items that helped complete the decorating of the house.

    The Historic Blue

My husband bought The Historic Blue in 2019.  It’s a blue 1920’s shotgun-style house (think long and narrow!) in a historic neighborhood.  It’s in a great location, nestled within a charming neighborhood, but also close to downtown shops & restaurants, and the local university.  My husband and his parents did extensive renovations (I’m talking knocking down walls and a complete overhaul!) to beautifully upgrade the home, while also keeping its historic southern charm.  They kept the original wood floors, which are quite the showstopper, and the first thing people mention when they step inside!  He and I have since moved away, but have kept the home as a short-term rental…
