"Carefully-considered" because I'm someone who has to conduct about 8374075 hours of research before making a simple design decision. And "beginner-friendly", because that's me, a beginner. I am a scientist by training, with absolutely zero interior design experience. When I became a homeowner and Airbnb host, I scoured the internet, desperate for easy-to-follow tips and design ideas to furnish my spaces. I had absolutely no idea what I was looking for, how to style cozy rooms, when to splurge vs. get the dupe, or where to find deals. It felt completely overwhelming. So, I figured I might as well take my countless hours of home decor research and put it all in one place.
